13: Humans Are Neither Pure Nor Responsible

It is a virtual guestplosion at SPRT! With two great guests that, along with A & B, actually approach an actual round table. D. makes a repeat appearance while L. joins for the first time. The topics move from shifting social mores (for the better or worse) and adolescent rebellion.

Rundown:
-Changing social mores (ie. cigarette smoking)
-Cigs, rifles, and porn
-Boys and Death
-Youth rebellion and the pendulum effect of conservative/liberal parents and kids

  1. Great job, as always. I really enjoy listening to you guys and I should leave more comments. One thing I kept thinking from my point of view is the effects of divorce and not having two parents to set boundaries. Especially having limited interactions with the same sex parent to help define who you are and how the world works.

Thanks, keep up the good work.

  2. Dolla Bill, what a good point about divorced folks. It doesn’t seem like any of the guests had that experience growing up. Maybe you should join us? Hmmm? Do you like to talky talky? I think you do.

  3. Dear A and B –

As one of your most devoted fans, i would like to ask you to BRING BACK THE CHAOS.

While i thoroughly enjoyed the last two installments (i was particularly fond of your guest L, a real keeper if you ask me), i miss the wild ride of your earlier episodes where the conversations would run in all directions at once. It felt so much like the inside of my own mind and i found comfort listening to you.

Also…i usually listen to you guys when i’m driving to work (45-49min) so i love the long episodes.

In all seriousness, i love the podcast!! Keep em coming.

    sincerely,
    honest abe
